Chris - Wow! I can't believe it's your first! Amazing job on the hair especially and I'm so impressed also that you did an ethnic baby as your first also which I have heard is more difficult. I'm working on my first too -- thank you for sharing and inspiring me!

Thank you!!! I decided to try painting so that I could have the kits I was in love with, but could not necessarily afford having them all made professionally. I adore the Asriel kits, and envisioned them as African American. I have been slowly working on the awake version, so this guy will have a brother eventually. Rooting was frustrating to begin with, but I began to enjoy it.

I'm so impressed. AA skin tones can be hard to do, and yours are perfect. And even eyebrows. He is adorable.
