“True” Reborn

Post by LINDASLITTLEBLESSINGS »

This doll started out as a Sissel B. Skille doll but I stripped her color and painted her with Genesis. I tell ya it wasn’t easy but I love how she turned out. Now I am just waiting on a pair of German glass eyes.

You did a fantastic job on her. Wouldn't even know it was the same doll!

Does she need smaller or larger pupils? She looks a little surprised her like she just found out there are “no more cookies?”

Exceptional! Linda you took her from doll to little girl!! I love the transformation. This is real old school reborning , when there were no kits , just dolls that were recreated into beautiful works of art. Thanks for sharing. I've missed this style of artwork. :toast:

Aww thanks! I actually started out with the Berenguer dolls from Toys r Us and stripping them, painting them with actual oil paints (not Genesis) then gluing on a wig!
