Re: Holy Realism!
Wow, that is the most realistic reborn I have seen, fantastic! Wonder if it will go home with all that white stuff on it?? Hope not!
Re: Holy Realism!
I think it will. There was one similar with the white stuff for sale in the reborn section recently. Personally I would not want a baby like that. I prefer a clean one.nanas newborns wrote:Wow, that is the most realistic reborn I have seen, fantastic! Wonder if it will go home with all that white stuff on it?? Hope not!

As I kept scrolling down the auction, that's what I was waiting for.

Re: Holy Realism!
Very realistic baby but I too was waiting for the white stuff to be cleaned off by the end of the page. Not my thing at all.

It is very realistic and I am sure someone will want it.....I would want to be able to get it off though...I am sure for those who just collect and display, this would be great to depict a newly born baby....

Re: Holy Realism!
I'd love her, & i'm not actually keen on the face, wasn't with Knox either, but the painting is amazing & outweighs that, so yes, I would love her, & the white stuff is part of the skill there, only thing I can't make my mind up about is the hand applied hair. I like it on ooaks but can't decide on vinyl.

Re: Holy Realism!
I agree about the applied hair, I love the painting and can even embrace the white stuff. I just don't care for the applied hair. It just looks clumpy to me and unrealistic.

Re: Holy Realism!
I love the baby but think rooted hair would have added to the realism.
Someone will be over the moon to be this baby's new mama, I'm sure

Re: Holy Realism!
Not for me. I'm not fond of the sculpt at all. Also, I don't like that painted hair nor the mayonnaise all over the baby
Re: Holy Realism!
So very realistic and amazing................such beautiful artwork but like most I would want the white off of her...................Hugs, Kathy

I don't mind the vernix, it's just not a baby I would bring in public
