Many of us have dolls from our childhood or some that we have collected. It would be neat to see these dolls and maybe
even sell or trade them?
Just a thought, what does everyone else think? :goofy:
I would LOVE if there was a section for antique dolls. For the past year I have been looking for that special baby and would love to see pictures of ones sold. I am still very new to the whole Antique Doll World and am still learning what is good and what to stay away from. Would be nice to just view a selection of dolls to choose from and hope to find one that pulls at my heart.
With Love,
Stephanie

Why can't we post them under "Manufactured Dolls"?

I have just started collecting antique dolls - the bisque antique, Simon and Halbig type. I would love a section on them and perhaps also antique clothing for them. Please Steve!!!

I like the idea, too, to have a section for antique dolls.

I have so many antique dolls that I want to list. A separate category would be really nice.

I guess Steve decided against the compo/antique doll forum??? Too bad. I started collecting them about a year ago and I just bought a Patsyette?? that is marked as something else but has no f&b mark so I need help identifying her once and for all. I hope sometime there is a board just for compo and other antique/vintage dolls.

May I just add that this is called "Doll Fan" and I doubt that Steve would have any objections to you lady's who wish to post about your Vintage dolls. Someone should decide where you want to put them and post away.

"General Dolly Discussion" is the place for us to go I think!! Let's post our dolls no matter what the medium and age! I have a small collection of compo dolls and love them!

I agree: we can indeed use the general forum :) and as for sales : most of us use the new post feed so catch up the for sale ads under all the cathegorys :elephant:
