Mine is to Mel. I always know when she has a day off because the mail is always very late and sometimes screwed up.

Oh my, the mail lady I had in my first apartment in the US is adorable... Lauren, we went by first names. She would ask about our elderly neighbor, a diabetic who lived alone, if he didn't pick up his mail for more than a day, and she was just precious.
Then we moved... and I had to complain because we were receiving the mail of half the neighborhood, even after I put a sign inside my mailbox that said "The ONLY people who live at this address are as follows:" with our four names. ;) They also held a parcel that I brought in for mailing for over two weeks... when we inquired on behalf of the (frantic) recipient, my husband shows them the tracking and the lady comes out with... MY package, supposedly mailed out weeks before.
