Ugh!! Canada Post to USPS Frustration!! Help!

I have an amazing baby on the way to me from Canada and I'm getting very frustrated by the differing information I'm getting from the Canada Post vs. USPS.

According to the Canada Post website, my baby is at a USSFOA somewhere in the US as of yesterday, and possibly as early as Monday if RICHMOND is Richmond, VA.

2014/07/22 19:27 USSFOA, International shipment has arrived in a foreign country

2014/07/21 21:27 RICHMOND International item has left Canada

21:20 RICHMOND Item processed

2014/07/19 16:31 VANCOUVER Item accepted at the Post Office


HOWEVER, according to the USPS website, my sweet baby is still in Vancouver!!

Your item has been processed through a sort facility in VANCOUVER, CANADA at 9:27 pm on July 21, 2014.

Has anyone experienced this issue with a shipment from Canada to the US? Is this differing information common? Should I be worried?

Just very nervous because this baby is so incredible and I just can't wait to get her home. I hate to think of her stuck somewhere because someone forgot to scan her or something!!

I have had that before! I would not worry. There always is a disconnect that is "Customs" when it arrives to the U.S. Hang in there!

"Richmond" is also a suburb of Vancouver. But looks like she's in the States already.

If you send me the traking number I will call my local post office and see what he can find out.I live in a rural area so the local mini post guy is great!

I'm from Canada, there is a city called Richmond BC which is close by Vancouver. From looking at this tracking, you baby was in Canada, Richmond BC, but is now in the US.

Thank you so much for this information! I'm glad to know that there is a Richmond in Canada too so she's not lost or going back and forth!

And Sheryl, if I don't see any change tomorrow I may take you up on the offer to make that phone call!

Also, Canada Post in my experience doesn't process during weekends, so the break from the 19th to 21st is totally normal, as they aren't business days.
