3/28 Update on Paul... Please send prayers

Glad to hear that Paul Jr. came through his surgery and is recovering now.

Thank you for reading my posts on here. He was transferred back to the rehab place today less than 24 hours after his surgery. I sure hope he is properly taken care of. There's nothing we can do about it so we will wait and see.

We spoke to Paul a few times last night and he sounded alright. He was a little surprised they sent him back so quickly so we will be on our guard now that he's back there. He was glad his wheelchair was there. The first one wasn't exactly what he needed so Diana met with the people and they took it back and he has the right one. What he needed was one that tilted back and the first one didn't do that. We're hoping he will be able to operate the motorized part of it.

We think it finally hit Paul that they took more than his foot off. They went to a little below his knee. He has been very depressed the past two days and we haven't even talked to him today, which is very unusual. We usually talk to him at least a couple times a day. He is also very, very disappointed because Chris, his and Diana's 12 year old son, is playing in a baseball tournament in Georgia next weekend. He just doesn't understand that with a catheter, not having any control over most of his body and also still isn't recuperated from his surgery. We will be going to it and will get as much video of it as we can for him but he still is determined to go.

Wow that seems too fast Lainey. I sure hope their wound care is better than their regular skin care. They just never keep anyone in the hospitals anymore. We are at the mercy of insurance companies. Paul is in my prayers every day and I hope he does alright.

My darling Lainey, I am in tears reading the latest update. We are all praying so much these days. I hope we get some miracles from above soon. I believe with all my heart that Paul's positivity and good morale is what has brought him this far. He has to let Jesus take the wheel on this one and give himself a break.

Thank you, Marilyn. We are just so devastated by this latest thing. I am so worried about him I can't even sleep at night. Paul isn't saying much at all about it and when he goes quiet like that, it isn't a good thing. I can't wait to get over there and see him.
