Did ebay fees go up?????

It use to be like 7% and up to 250.00.

How do people who provide for their living thru ebay support themselves????

I have a family of 4 sons and ebay is the way I help support my family... with 10% taken from ebay and a certain percent take from paypal... there is so much less left. It feels violating!!!

I hate ebay with their outrageous fees. Unfortunately, sometimes things that don't sell here will sell on ebay.

For those of you who use Etsy...do dolls sell as well on there as they do on eBay? It seems to me that Etsy doesn't get as much traffic, but maybe I'm wrong.

I would imagine she is referring to the high costs usps charges for shipping.

She is getting out you now get charged the 10% fee on the shipping fees you get paid too to ship the item.

It is discouraging to hear this....I don't sell on ebay and probably won't....for what I get for my dolls, its too expensive. It is a shame we can't sell more dolls on this site.

Its crazy! And you pay to sell and now they plaster other peoples items in the same catagory all over YOUR page, you pay to use. On my tablet when I click on an auction before I even get to scroll down it now shows me other items (dolls) "I might like"...these items used to be on the bottom page, but not so much anymore. I dislike ebay!

They just announced in their 2015 Seller Update that they increased the price for listing with a reserve too. I think that's a little short sighted for eBay. Reserves are a good way to get bidding started.

eBay:
"Reserve price will increase. This feature fee will increase in price to the greater of $3, or 2% of the reserve price (the minimum price that must be met for your item to sell), with a cap of $100."

Through Paypal you can only ship Priority mail and that has gone up also~~~~Usually over $25.00 for shipping~~~

Emily, if you look at the final sale of an item there is another charge of $2.60. Even though a listing fee might only be .35

Are you talking about the insertion fees vs the final value fees? There are 2 different fee types - the 30 cent insertion fee applies to any listings over your free monthly limit, but all listing that sell have the 10% final value fee and the 10% final value fee on shipping.
