A question about Julie molloy babies
I was on Instagram the other day and ran across a pic from a woman with a JM baby. She said that the baby was oozing oil and losing paint. An artist said that Julie molloy puts something in her silicone that causes the oil.
Is that true?
What is it?
I've been on the look out for a JM baby, but now I'm a little worried.

Re: A question about Julie molloy babies
I had a Paige Molloy and she never oozed oil at all. Her silicone is the softest I have ever felt, but not oily feeling. Nancy

Re: A question about Julie molloy babies
I have several of her babies and NONE of them have ever done that. If you find one you will see that they are the most wonderful babies to have in your collection. I have had the older ones and the newest ones and they have never ever done such a thing.
I would be more worried about never finding one. They are very hard to get because no one wants to let them go onto the secondary market. Your best bet is to watch Julie's website or FBook and get one of her lay a way spots for one of her babies.
Hugs,
Diane

Julies babies are smooth as silk and do not ooze oil at all.

This was discussed a few years ago. I think the very first Molloy babies, that were not full body were tin silicone:

Re: A question about Julie molloy babies
I had one that never oozed or felt oily. It was one of the first full body preemies.
