:D Oh My Goodness, Debbie! You are almost done! It looks awesome! It will be your little dolly sanctuary and will be such a peaceful, sweet place. You are going to have so much fun setting it up. No telling what mischief your kids are going to get into out there when you go to bed! LOL! :foryou: Love, Dion

Bwahahahahah Dion! It is going to be total mayhem when I bring all of the furniture, boxes of babies, clothes, and toys out there! I don't know if I'll be able to keep track of them as they bust out of hibernation! My body is starting to tremble at the thought of it!

It has been an unimaginable amount of work and expense. I don't regret it one little bit though

Sooo cool! I love it all! What will you use the upstairs for?
Love the bench! The wood looked really nice right after you stripped it! I have an old one that is adult sized and looks about like the one you bought before you cleaned it up. What did you do to get the wood looking so nice. What kind of chemical stripper?

The high loft above the porch will be long term storage for things such as doll boxes and probably seasonal items.

My initial intent for the large loft in the back was to be storage of excess furniture but I have new ideas. I'll reveal those later :D

I used all Cabot products on the child's bench as well as our grown up bench on the front porch of our house and on the porch itself. First I used the Cabot Wood Stripper and then the Cabot Wood Brightner.

The stain is Cabot Australian Timber Oil. I really love that stuff and it's super easy to use. The wood sucks it all up~you don't have to put it on then wipe it off. You just brush it on and let it be beautiful. (I did not use the Timber Oil stain on the adult park bench. I used an ACE brand but I didn't like it as much as the Timer Oil.)

Here is my front porch:

Cabot products are more expensive but work well and are beautiful.
