Finally Found!! Childhood doll Baby Dreams (Mint)

Hi,

I have been looking for a mint condition Baby Dreams ( my first childhood special doll) for many years! I finally found her!! I am sooo happy!! She is mint condition still in her original box with paperwork! I am so overjoyed to have finally found one and she is so perfect! Did anyone else love this doll as much as me? I would love to hear your Baby Dreams story!!

That's so cool that you found her Christina. Congrats. It's super to have her perfect box and things too. She was meant to be yours. Mine was a soft bodied doll called Thumbelina and I cherished her too.

Mine was more of toy doll than a baby doll really. She was a Sweet April doll. When I was about 4 or 5 I had seen the commercials on TV and asked Santa that year for Sweet April and I can remember praying to Jesus to ask Santa to bring me that doll while looking at the angel on top of our tree and boy did Santa deliver! Not only that but I got all the accessories too! I remember being so surprised because I hadn't even mentioned it to my mom. It made a little girl believe in Jesus, I can tell you that. lol

Still trying to find my AA baby I foolishly gave away to a neighbours daughter when I had outgrown her......d'oh. Think she was a palitoy doll.....never seen one like her

Yes, she had velvet skin on her face, hands and some dolls their legs and feet.

Mine was Thumbelina, too (we must be about the same age). I still have her but she's definitely not in mint condition.

My favorite was Teenie Weeny Tiny Tears. I am lucky that I still have her after all these years. Although I did have to buy her a little wig as when I was 3 or 4, when I received her I wanted a bald headed baby like my cousin's Tiny Tears so I cut all her hair off. She has a short mohawk under her wig now. LOL!! I still love her though.
I found some on Ebay as well so I have a small collection of them. That was how I discovered Reborns looking for parts for Tiny tears dolls.
I am so glad you found your childhood doll you loved.
I also gave the last baby doll I had to a neighbor girl. It was newborn Baby Tender Love. I couldn't resist buying one when I found her on Ebay. My little 2 1/2 year old Grand daughter loves to play with her now.
