Come See My Miss Havisham!
I realized that I never posted my reborn doll, Miss Havisham, here. I adopted her several months ago. She is Secrist's "Grandma" sculpt. She stands at 36 inches tall. She was reborned by the amazingly talented Bonnie O'Dette of Bon Petite Reborns. Bonnie is an amazing artist and her attention to detail is second to none. The details in Miss Havisham's painting and her costume are breathtaking!
Miss Havisham is a character in the Charles Dickens novel, "Great Expectations". This is how I pictured Miss Havisham when I read the story in high school. Photos don't do her justice. ALL PHOTOS WERE USED WITH BONNIE O'DETTE'S PERMISSION.

She is really amazing. Her detailed painting and gown are true works of art.
I saw a more recent version with Gillian Anderson from the X-Files as Miss Havisham. She really made you feel the despair of the character.

Thank you, Georgeanne! Bonnie is truly an amazing artist. I didn't know Gillian Anderson did a version of Great Expectations. I'll have to look for it. Of course, X-Files still is one of my favorite shows.

Thank you, Brenda! She is different as reborns go, but Great Expectations has a personal meaning for me. When I saw Miss Havisham, I just had to have her! Bonnie's work is fantastic!just_Brenda wrote:She's amazing Diana!
