She's home!

It took FOREVER to finally be able to open her. I raced home after a doctors appt for the lady I take care of and got here right when the post lady pulled up so grabbed the box then had to cart it around with me all stinkin day! Finally got off work but had to get groceries then come home and start dinner. But while it was cooking I couldn't wait any longer and dug in!

Soooooo here she is!

I knew before I got her that I would be trimming those crazy eyelashes

I will admit I'm having a tough time completely bonding because she has a lot of hair and it's long. In her auction pictures she had pretty little waves and curls that the artist gave her but I can't replicate it to save my life! I really want her hair trimmed but I don't know how to do it and I don't want to ruin her. So for now I'm playing around with it to see what style I can make work but other than that she's very sweet!

I named her Emerson Louise

*edited to add, I'm officially in love! Oh my goodness it hit like a freight train as soon as I held her minus the blanket and just looked down at her all snuggled in! Oh my goodness she was so worth it!*

Thank you ladies! I've really fallen for her pretty hard. Even cleared a space in my room rather than the nursery for a bassinet so I could have her near by. I didn't have the heart to already put her in the nursery. Then this morning I didn't want to go to work because all I wanted to do was cuddle her and change her outfit. I'll get a little bit of time for that after work before I go to a meeting. Why must today be so busy?!? I need cuddle time with my new love!
