I think I have loved each and every Bonnie Brown kit I have brought to life but this one really is special. This is the one and only I have made so far but I do have another kit to bring to life around Mother's Day for a customer-yea!

I have to tell you all, that I was a bit upset yesterday. My husband asked me if I could tell the difference between a boy and girl doll, to which I replied, "of course!" He said, "Well that one (pointing to my Emberly), is a boy! ". I told him it was not, and that she was sculpted as a girl. He still thinks she's a boy! Needs his glasses fixed!!

My story about Saskia, now Aksana:

I'm a new collector of reborn babies and so learning. My first baby was Evangeline by Laura Lee Eagles and then Americus. Well, while I was looking for Americus I came across this baby that I LOVED so much. That baby was the Saskia sculpt. I saw picture after picture of her, and I just HAD to have her for my collection.

So, I scoured eBay for a week, and finally I found one that was just perfect! She wasn't an auction but a buy it now. I paid and bought her. I got her in the mail, and actually, was kind of disappointed when I got her. She just didn't look the same to me. I just didn't like her expression, just wasn't impressed as I thought I would be.

Well, the longer I've had her... and that has COMPLETELY changed. I have fallen in love with this baby! She is ALWAYS the one I go to, to change the clothes and to take pictures. Now I wonder, how could I ever not have absolutely loved her???

She is definitely a forever baby for me! And I've also been on the look out. Because I'd love to have another Saskia. If I'm going to cuddle, I usually pick up my Claire Taylor Jeanine. But if I'm going to play dress up and take pictures of my babies, Saskia is definitely the best. She's my little sweetheart!

Tiffany, I love your little girl. I know what you mean about the sculpt growing on you. I loved Shiloh when I saw his photos that Kate sent but have fallen even more in love with him.

There is something about this sculpt that just makes you smile. I don't know what it is. I can't put it into words. But she is so endearing. I love mine too. Not usually into open eyed dolls, but this one has captured my heart.
