Silicone and vinyl dont mix.....

Post by LollipopCradle_Paula »

So does that mean we shouldn't use silicone pacis with open mouthed vinyl babies? Or is it a different kind of silicone? Well, I know it's different, but....will a silicone pacifier harm the vinyl doll's mouth?

I have many silicone dolls and I've never had it affect a silicone doll. I wouldn't leave on in for very long though as I'm afraid it would affect how the mouth looks. I think it's clay and silicone that doesn't make good bed fellows but I could be wrong.

I think the vinyl and silicone don't mix is about the so called silicone-vinyl babies?? Like the 2 mediums can't be mixed together to make 1. Ashton drake uses the term silicone-vinyl, which doesn't exist because they wouldn't mix together and set....and you wouldn't be able to reborn an ashton drake doll with genesis lol

I've had tons of silicone paci's in my Twin A's mouth for months and she is absolutely fine :)
