My dolly room does not have AC and it gets hot in the summer. How do you protect your babies from the heat if you don't have AC?

My dolly room is a loft- the windows aren't the kind that can hold an AC and a portable one needs to be emptied often so that wouldn't work. Also, it would cost a fortune to run and AC all day everyday for the summer in a room I am hardly in. There must be others who don't have AC. I hope to hear what they do.

If you can put some pop bottles filled with water, in the freezer, then put them in front of the fan, that might cool things down a bit.

They sell portable swamp coolers too. . You put water and ice into the unit and it blows cold air

The loft gets very hot since heat rises and it is on the top floor.

And if they are air dry paints then it cant be good at all. I would find a way to allow some of the heat to escape from the area....

I have never had AC and I have not had any problems . Just don't leave them in a sunny window the hair might fade .as will some of the clothing if you are not changing them.

It's not an attic. It's a loft- a room that has only 3 walls and is open on the fourth side with stairs. I don't have ac! Huge problem in the summer when I'm trying to paint! The few finished dolls I have are on the main floor and have been fine though! Maybe a window fan sucking the heat out, now I'm trying to remember if there was a window in that pic! Lol! I love your dolly loft by the way! Wish to have one of my own someday!!
