FOUND!! Missing a body part!!
I've been painting a Madison Arcello for the last few days, and starting to get it looking the way I want. Painted a little more yesterday, and then left her parts on the stand I use. Got up this morning, with all intentions of finishing her today, and one of her arms is missing!!?? I have looked everywhere for it, and it's nowhere to be found!
Don't have a clue where it could be. Will have to hunt around for it again.
UPDATE.......7.30pm, Thursday, 6th.
My husband just brought me the missing arm I had been looking for........he's doing Sudoku in the sunroom.....dropped his eraser, which he said bounced all over the floor, landing right beside the arm, which was on the floor behind the sunroom sofa! I have no idea how it got in there or on the floor!! But I think I need to thank my friend's "friends" for finding it for me.
Now I can finish her and get her home for the weekend. YAY!!

Do you have a cat that likes to hide things?
That's where anything that used to come up missing at our home, got helped away to her hiding place!
Hair ties & the like where her favorite though. My grandson's cat took my daughter's keys off their kitchen cabinet & she never did find them!

No kitties or pups here. I just can't even imagine where it could possibly be. I even looked in the fridge!

Not yet! Can't think what's happened to it. It hasn't fallen off the table, and it's not in my dolly room. Just have to keep looking. Either that, or start on another Madison kit. This is an order, so was trying to get it done so I can work on some kits for the December show.Tracy Lorraine wrote:Lol! I hope you found it.

Re: Missing a body part!!
My GOSH - that's crazy!! I will say that I am horrible at looking for something and it's literally right in front of my face.
It could not have just disappeared... unless someone broke into your house, saw that you had dismembered a baby and took the arm as evidence for the police. But I assume you haven't gotten a call from the law yet so I just can't fathom what happened.
I hope you locate it!!

No, no calls from the police. Lol. It IS crazy, because I remember taking off some marks on the palm of the hand, then repainting it. And showing my husband the different hand sculpts that I'm doing. And usually I just put them back on my rack. But this time, I can't remember what I did with it??
Just have to keep looking. It can't be too far away. It's here in the house......somewhere.

My husband used to tell me I was the only person he knew who could sit in one place and not move and lose something! I don't think I'm the only one!

No, not yet. I don't want to have to make a whole new doll if I can't find it.ABabyC wrote:Have you found the missing arm yet, Annette???

I hope you checked the garbage. I've been know to throw something in the garbage instead of the actual garbage. Hope it shows up soon.

Re: Missing a body part!!
Shelvy, I already had that horrible thought, and my hubby took the garbage out on Tuesday! I am hoping that I didn't do that! But if I have to, I'll go through all the bags. We have to take our own garbage into town to the dump as we don't have pick up out here. So, if it is in one of the bags, at least it's still here in our utility trailer. Not a particularly nice job, but if it's in there, I can always give it a good wash.shelvyjj wrote:I hope you checked the garbage.
