Need advice again from you all AGAIN

Post by vicmar »

I had a buy it now item up for sale and I accepted an offer. That was Friday evening. It is now Monday and not a word from the buyer. How long do you wait before relisting and filing a non payer bidder claim. It seems ebay is getting worse and worse with buyers. I have been on ebay for years and never had a problem. Now these last two sales on ebay have been a real problems. What is the normal time for wait for payment. Thanks so much.

Ebay requires you wait 4 days. I file the claim as soon as possible (so, 4 days). Then Ebay won't let you relist until the 8th day after the claim is opened to see if the person pays.

I had the same thing happen on Thursday. And I know, in fact, that this same buyer purchased and paid for another baby the exact same night. I don't expect them to pay. I will file a claim when it comes available. Nothing else can be done.

I rarely do best offers for this very reason. Just too many clowns out there putting on a show at your expense. It's very frustrating.

I think waiting 8 days to relist is too long, but that's eBay for you . . .

Ebay is such a joke anymore... Emily is correct, they will make you wait 4 days to file the claim, and then another 4 days to see if the buyer pays... After that, they finally let you relist and credit your seller account.
