I am sorry that you are ill and hope the medication helps. A friend of mine ended up in hospital with her lungs, caused by reborning. This was a good few years ago. When I started reborning, I was told to place my two ovens outside, well we have a conservatory that has window open all the time so the oven are in there.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It's awful to think something we love doing could be health threatening. Last fall, out of nowhere, I started getting extremely lightheaded and dizzy. I noticed it happened every time I sang. I went to the doctor and they did an asthma test and my levels were half of what they were supposed to be. Now I'm on a steroid inhaler as well as albutueral (sp?)
Makes me worried that it could be doll related now. I've been making them for almost 8 years.

Correct, you don't have to bake them. However, I have found that I do have to wear a mask when I'm matting them. And still manage to have a cough after I do it. I've been told they do make a liquid matte but it seems more tedious to use.

I was having serious lung problems after 5 years of using ghsp. and odorless thinner. Doc told me to quit or I would get copd. So I switched to air dry paints. Im afraid we are going to see more and more people getting sick as time goes by. I'm so sorry this has happened to you.

Very nice...well, I've been thru worse things like two knee replacements, surgeries, blood filter put out n before 2nd knee replacement eeek I was awake for that fun procedure,,,than a week later got it out awake for it,too. So, I'm hoping that I can enjoy living the rest of my life w/o too much hassle. I have sold everything related to making dolls
