Help with ending auction early / buy it now on eBay

Post by Barbara L. »

I have Mia listed on eBay and have had someone contact me wanting me to end the auction so
he can buy the doll for his daughter who collects silicone dolls for a Christmas gift.

I want to stay with eBay for protection, but I am willing to end the auction because I don't think she will sell if I leave her as is.
If I choose "Buy it now" at the current price, how do I get around putting a starting (low) price in?

I plan to mark the pay immediately box, but I do not want to ship the doll until I get the payment from paypal.
He wants the doll sent asap so he can have it before Christmas, but I am worried that if I send the doll before payment is cleared,
I will lose the doll and the money.
He does have good feedback (only 11 though, but all positive) and has good communication skills, which is such a relief!

Please advise if you have any ideas, Thanks!

You can always edit the listing and preview it before you submit it. If it isn't the way you want it, just cancel the changes.

If the auction is already up and running, edit the bid amount to the price he is going to pay for the doll, then when he places a bid for the starting amount I believe there is an option to end early and sell to the highest bidder xxx I hope it works out for you!

Just be careful. Don’t ship the doll before you have a clear payment. It’s toooooo risky. Good luck.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!

Thanks!
I found out he lives in Canada and this is his message to me this morning

"I would pay for an overnight courier like FedEx and can I pay you another way that gets you the money immediately so there can be no refunds?
Please advise.
Thanks, Troy"

But I don't know how to get any payment that in non-refundable through paypal and eBay.
It seems he is sincere in wanting this doll for his daughter. I just hope she is a teenager or older
and not one of the kids who see the youtube videos not realizing what the doll really is.
