Preferred arm length for reborn babies
Preferred arm length for reborn babies
I would like some opinions from you reborners and collectors. After the Holidays are behind us I am hoping to possibly sculpt something for vinyl kits. I have focused on silicone for many many years now and miss the reborn community, I know I want to have full legs but am wondering what arm length i preferred....full or 3/4 with jointed caps at the shoulders? I like the poseability of the jointed shoulders but not sure what others are preferring. Your input will be appreciated! And what about size....21", 18-19" or 16"??

Thanks so much for your input. I will continue with silicone also and plan to also offer some unpainted silicone kits.

I love full limbs, at least 1 very bent leg (turned out bent knees are so realistic to me)... size 18"

I prefer full limbs. It’s nice to be able to dress them in sleeveless shirts/dresses. I like 20-21 inches. It’s easier to find clothes that fit them.

I prefer full limbs also. I will not even buy a baby if its 3/4 anything no matter how cute it is. Size doesn't matter to me. I love them all big and small.

Re: Preferred arm length for reborn babies
I am surprised at so many like the full limbs. I would have said full legs and 3/4 arms to pose better.
Re: Preferred arm length for reborn babies
I prefer full limbs for sure. Can’t stand 3/4 arms or legs.

Re: Preferred arm length for reborn babies
three quarter arms and 20 to 21 inch babies [only because non of my 4 were tiny though. anything under 8.8 lbs seems too small to be realistic for me.lol]x

Definitely full limbs! I actually prefer smaller babies, 18" is my favorite size!

Full arms on any size. Makes dressing in summer things so much easier.
Re: Preferred arm length for reborn babies
It looks like full limbs are favored by a lot of collectors. Thank you all for your input.

I may be late... But I also prefer full arms and legs. My favorite size is 18-19"
My childhood may be over, but that doesn’t mean playtime is.
