Looks like some kind of shredded rubber that has reacted to the vinyl - at least that's my guess.

Oh wow.. no clue. I'd try to find out who made the doll and ask them.

Looks like shredded rubber. Many, many years ago they put that in pillows. I haven't seen it since I was young.

If the doll is from Poland, they do weight them light and with whatever they can especially if they are shipping overseas. I agree that it's possibly rubber, I wonder if they placed it in the body during the summer??
I am sorry you've run into this, I hope you are able to remove it from the limbs.

If it's melted in the limbs, I don't think you want to leave it in there. I would get some hemostats and pull it out.
Blessings!

Back in the day when we had that fiasco with the “silicone” pellets, I used curved hemostats. 8 or 10”. I think bountiful baby still carries them.
Blessings!

Very weird looking stuff......looks like mushy quinoa to me.
Hope you can get it out. The hemostat suggestion might work.

I'd guess the "baby fat pellets" that were used for awhile. I always thought they could react with the vinyl and degrade, so I stayed with glass bead. Just a thought.
