Cold Winter Weather and Silicone?

Post by Chattynadine »

Hi I need some opinions if anyone has an answer..(thank you)
Being that we have been very cold in Michigan even as low as -4 will it hurt the silicone or the painting on the silicone to ship in this cold weather. Bought a partial silicone doll and don’t know if this weather can cause any paint damage to a silicone doll?
Thank You for any help or suggestions..

Silicone is quite resilient. And the experts will know better than myself. But I can only go from what I've experienced. I've had silicone babies sent up here in the winter time, and we have -20 to -40 temps up here, and they've not had anything happen to them, except that they're a bit cold when taken out of the box.
Just to be safe, I'd unwrap it carefully, and leave it to warm up to room temperature, and then check it out really well. :)
Good luck with your new baby. :)
Hugs Annette
