Re: OOAK babies, where are they?
Oh my gosh, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE OOAK's and miss seeing them!!
Here is my most adored baby in my collection, Aimee Webb.
She is just as perfect as the day she was sculpted and she is my forever baby! I wish more collectors wanted OOAK's so that artists would still create and sell them as OOAK's again! I truly feel like there is nothing better than a OOAK doll straight from the artists hands......so special to have the one and only baby created by an artists!
What a wonderful topic!!

My sentiment, exactly. Artists aren't making the OOAKs anymore and that's sad to me.Kelliegirl wrote: ↑Mon Apr 16, 2018 5:05 am Oh my gosh, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE OOAK's and miss seeing them!!

Thanks so much for sharing your OOAKs. It does my heart good to see that some people still love them.

I LOVE the OOAK's too, and used to have many of them. Now I only have two left.

Re: OOAK babies, where are they?
Your OOAK pictures are reminding me of the old days of doll collecting, when OOAKs were what everyone wanted. I miss those days!

Re: OOAK babies, where are they?
I love seeing all your beautiful babies! I think it's so special that they are OOAK. When I first started collecting they were already not as popular so I've never had one but I love all of yours! Such wonderful eye candy on this thread!

Re: OOAK babies, where are they?
I love one of a kind dolls too.
I used to have a ooak by Linda Webb and a newborn size ooak by Eva Helland.
I miss having them in my collection, but had to sell them to finance a trip to watch my son become a Marine, so it was definitely a good reason!
This is Amber by Lorna Miller Sands
And Alexa by Tasha Edenholm
A precious babe by Eva Helland
And the baby in the center is Olivia by Olivia Stone.
The other two are silicones by Olivia

Re: OOAK babies, where are they?
I loved Alexa from the moment I saw her so when she was for sale here on DF, I was so happy that I got to buy her.
This is one of the pictures that was so popular of her. I hope whoever took the photo doesn't mind that I am sharing it.
And... Aimee by Linda Webb is another baby that is so special and loved by many.
I would love to see her in person.
It is great to see pictures of her Kellie!

Re: OOAK babies, where are they?
I have a room full of ooaks but can no longer figure out how to post pics here. I have Hellands, Adrie, Teunissen, Skille, Scattolini's, Cauley, Holger, I forget his artist at the moment, Chyles, mini's, Geerlings, portraits of my daughter by Ping, and more. They are in my dollfan album but I don't know how to post them here.

Re: OOAK babies, where are they?
I have this little cutie. You don't really see too many AA OOAK's other than Lorna's sweet babies so I feel very lucky to have this little girl
