Is there any way to link old username to new?

I had let my membership lapse, and when I rejoined I had to change my username slightly because there are now more restrictions on what characters can be included in a username. My old username was purple_kangaroo (Angela) and new is purple_kangaroo_Angela. Is there any way to link them? I don't know if my old signatures, PMs and that sort of thing would still be there or not anyway.

I'm not sure there us a way to link them - Steve would know for sure. You could put a note in your siggy (formally known as...) to let people know.

unfortunately there isn't....if your membership expired to the point of your username being removed your old info like PM's and signatures are deleted from the database.
