Pat, please tell us what you used for your photo. My siggy was showing yesterday but I see today that it no longer is.

Re: Just testing posting a picture
I have not figured out the siggy issue yet but for the picture in the message--- I sized my picture in one of my photo programs---then
At the bottom of a post on the left side you will see "Options" and "Attachments". Click on "Attachments". It will give you instructions of what to do.
Hope this helps. I HATE PB.

I have added pictures as attachments to my posts in the past. It can only be up to a certain size or it won't let you add it.Lovestoknit Jane wrote:I have just tried this and it says... My files are too big

Re: Just testing posting a picture
I checked out the siggy deal and what it boils down to is, Photobucket is now going to force us to have a "Paid For" account, in order to be able to post photos to another site or forum, like here in DF. They're calling that "3rd Party Hosting". I didn't go far enough to get the price. I stopped before it could charge me but Yes Girls, it looks to me like now that they have ALL of our photos, we're not going to be able to use them anywhere, without paying. I'm NOT doing it. Another thing that'll make DF die. Now we can't even post our pics from PB.
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!

Re: Just testing posting a picture
Erin and Jane, I use my camera program and it is sized to 1000x692. You can also resize it in Windows Photo Viewer or Photo Shop.
Wishing you a blessed day.
Re: Just testing posting a picture
This really stinks. I know often I like to search through threads on this forum to see how a particular sculpt was reborn or something similar. This means that anyone that posted pictures on this forum in the past, that does not have a paying account with photobucket will lose all their pictures. So we will have a very limited number of reference photos now throughout the forum. Does anyone know of a good photo hosting site that we could all use instead?

Re: Just testing posting a picture
I was just able to place a picture in my siggy. I went to my Flickr account and downloaded a picture from my computer. Then I copied the image address. Went into my profile and added the picture. Yippee !!!!
