Re: PAINTING WITH REFLECTIONS SILI PAINT
Re: PAINTING WITH REFLECTIONS SILI PAINT
Has anyone used this silicone paint http://reflectionscasting.com/shop.html
I saw a tutorial for it on YouTube and ordered the small kit and head because it is a lot less expensive than some of the other. If I try it out on the face I can wait until it is really dry and then scrub the heck out of it to see if it holds. At least I think that would be okay. If so, I'll paint my little girl.

Re: "REFLECTIONS" SILICONE PAINT??
I'm not so sure I trust that site.. doesn't even give you list of the colors or what is in the kit...let us know if you get it and if you like it ..Please!
Re: "REFLECTIONS" SILICONE PAINT??
It should get here today. I'll let you know.
I first saw it on a tutorial on silicone painting on YouTube. I think it will have the colors I need, but we'll see. I know it is just a sample kit with very small amounts of paint, but very strong. I'll take a picture.

Re: "REFLECTIONS" SILICONE PAINT??
did you receive your paint...curious!
Re: "REFLECTIONS" SILICONE PAINT??
Yes, I just got them. I'm going to start trying them out later today - maybe? I also got a test face to paint so I'm going to get it ready first. Then I have to really clean up my work area so I don't have all those "mohair-sies" and stuff floating around. More to come.

Good Job!...good luck!
Re: "REFLECTIONS" SILICONE PAINT??
My first impression is it is very transparent, even glass-like. That may prove to be a good thing. We'll see. The kit included white, light flesh, blue, blush and a yellowish tone. Also matting powder in a shaker and the activator. Also the test face. But no instructions so I'm on my own. I have some pictures to post soon.

Yup, ugly for sure. Only as big as the palm of my hand. S/he serves a purpose tho'. More later.

Reflections is owned by Terri Meyers. She is a member here on doll fan and on Facebook.
Re: Re: PAINTING WITH REFLECTIONS SILI PAINT
Truthfully, I gave up on it. I couldn't seem to get it to do anything. No color. Of course it could be that I didn't get any instructions at all with the paint. Maybe I need to get hold of Terri Meyers and see if she has anything.
