It's not difficult to get personal data nowadays, so I wouldn't bother with that so much.
But what it's the purpose of sending message like this, it's irrational :dunno:

they are always pleased to get hoax emails and follow them up

I never answer anything straight through my email if it has anything to do with ebay... not even questions from buyers.. I always check in my messages straight in my ebay. I don't trust any of it anymore.

I had something similar, supposedly from Tinkerbell nursey (The cradle) about some eyes I bought off them! And had a link to click on. That was a bit weird actually because I had recently bought some eyes off them, I contacted them & they said ignore it, it's a hoax! So they must have access to a lot more than we think :?

We're so paranoid about e-mails that we contacted our credit card company before we signed up for a promotion they're having this month. We thought it was fake, and it turned out to be really from them. I say better to be safe than sorry, so thanks for the heads-up. I'll watch for fake e-mails from eBay and PayPal. It's summer, and summer is the time for a rash of fake e-mails.
