I'm pretty sure she did sell some blanks of Luna but not many. I remember seeing a few painted by different artists.

I do wish the artist would offer more than a handful of dolls. I'm always a day late or dollar short. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I am new to the sili arena....so I am having a hard time figuring out who sculpts who and who pours and offers it and which ones offer blanks...and due to the small editions...I too usually find out too late! :( BUT...I do think the smaller editions make them more desirable...and sell better because there are not thousands of them out there

When Luna came out I remember contacting Jennie Lee for one. She had one available and was going to paint it for me for $1800! I don't know what the heck happened, but that doll blew up in price! I decided not to get her at the time. She was too marshmallow and little for me. I just saw one for sale in here though and another on Doll Fan.

Yes, Jennie Lee offered blanks of Luna. I was lucky enough to purchase one...what a darling sculpt!

Places that you can go to get blanks are: Lilianne Breedveld (she has the Xavi edition open right now), Angela Lewis, Sherri Williams, Jennie Lee, Bonnie Sieben, Melissa McCrory...and I am sure I am missing others.

The reason that they are so limited is that the molds only stand up for so many pours. Sometimes they hold out for more than anticipated, but often times, less.

thanks for the leads Debbie! :foryou:
I did know that the mold will not hold up to many pours...if y'all could see what it takes to unmold them..you would understand!
but I do wonder how Ashton Drake makes 1000s of their silicone babies...must be a different process since theirs is basically a skin over a shell :dunno:
